Saint Lucia Receives Top Honors
SAINT LUCIA (October 23, 2015) – This week Saint Lucia was recognized as one of the “Top 20 Islands in the World” and six of the island’s resorts were included in the “Top 40 Resorts in the Caribbean” in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards.
Ultra-luxury Jade Mountain was rated #1 among the “Top 40 Caribbean Resorts,” and rated 40 in the “Top100 Hotels and Resorts in the World.” Five more acclaimed Saint Lucia properties appeared on the “Top 40 Resorts in the Caribbean” including Ladera Resort (#4), Sugar Beach, A Viceroy Resort (#5), Cap Maison (#21), The BodyHoliday (#22) and Anse Chastanet Resort (#30).

Tracey Warner Arnold, deputy director and vice president of marketing for the Saint Lucia Tourist Board, noted the island is seeing an increase in stay-over arrivals for the first nine months of the year from the U.S., up 7.5 percent over 2014.
“We are constantly evolving our tourism experiences to provide something new for visitors each time, from our emerging culinary scene and world-class spas to adventures that include diving among the coral reefs to hiking to the top of the UNESCO World Heritage Pitons, and much more,” said Arnold
